What is eGo threading?

eGo threading is the old style threads which most devices used to use when vaping first came onto the market. The threading is a lot wider compared to the more common 510 threading nowadays.

Will 510 tanks fit on this battery?

Although this battery has eGo threading, tanks with 510 threading will screw on and work with the GS eGo battery. However, 510 tanks will not sit flush on the battery.

Furthermore, make sure your tank is a MTL tank as sub-ohm tanks will not work with this battery.

510 or eGo threading – How do you tell the difference?

Look at the bottom of your tank, if you have a small bit of metal protruding out the bottom with the threading on the outside, thats most likely 510.

If the bottom of your tank has wider threading and the threads are on the inside of the metal, then it is most likely eGo threading.
