Coils & Pods

Replacement coils and pods are the heart of any vaping device. Coils are small heating elements, sometimes called atomizers, which heat up and create vapour.

Pods are small plastic chambers which typically come with coils built-in which cannot be replaced. When the coil inside a pod burns out, you will need to replace the whole pod. That is of course, if the pod does not allow for coils to be replaced. Some pods will allow you to change the coil rather than the whole pod, in that case, simply replace the coil and you’re good to go.

The vast majority of mouth-to-lung and sub-ohm vaping devices will use traditional tanks where you will need to replace the coil yourself. This is straightforward to do. Inside of the coil is some cotton which is used to absorb e-liquid into the middle of the coil. It is also there to prevent e-liquid from just flowing out and leaking all over the place. Over time, the cotton in the coil will burn out leaving you with a foul taste. Replacing the coil will bring your vape back to life and tasting great again. Just remember to leave your coil to soak up enough e-liquid before using it for the first time.
