How To Use: OXVA XLIM Pod Kit

The XLIM pod kit by OXVA has quickly turned into one of our best selling devices, and for good reason! It is incredibly easy to use, with a good battery life. The replacement pods are reliable, long-lasting and provide good flavour. Here is a step-by-step on how to use the device but first, let’s have a look at what comes in the box.

Operating The Battery

Turn On/Off

To turn the XLIM battery on and off, simply press the button (there is only 1 button on the device) 5 times. If you press the button too quickly or too slowly, the device may not recognise this and do nothing. You have to find the balance and it will turn on or off. You get used to this very quickly.

Locking The Device

To lock the device, press the button 4 times while the device is on. This will lock the button so that you can’t accidentally press the button in your pocket or bag. Whilst locked, the device will still be able to used with inhale activation (where you inhale through the pod and the device automatically works without the need of holding down the button).

Changing The Settings

Settings can be changed between 5w-25w, going up in increments of 0.5w. To change the settings, press the button 3 times while the device is on. You should now see the settings number blink. While blinking, every press of the button will increase the settings by 0.5w. Keep pressing until you reach your desired setting and leave it for a few seconds. The blinking will stop and this will mean the settings have applied.

If you’re not sure what setting to use, have a look at the bottom of your pod. You will see a recommendation for the resistance you are using.

Adjusting The Airflow

On the side of the battery is a small airflow control. Slide this up to reduce the airflow and slide it down to open it up. There is not right or wrong when it comes to airflow. Play around with it and see what suits you best!

Display

The display will show you what setting you’re on, your battery life, coil/pod resistance, and a puff counter.

How To Refill The Pods

On the bottom side of the pod is a small rubber flap. Pull this back and refill the pod. Remember that if it is the first time the pod is being used, to fill it up and allow it to stand for 3-5 minutes. This is enough time for the cotton inside the coil to absorb some e-liquid. If you fail to do this, and use it straight away, you will burn the coil and need to replace the pod.
